“Whatcha See is Whatcha Get” in The Southern Review

Caille Millner has a new short story, “Whatcha See is Whatcha Get,” in the Summer 2020 issue of The Southern Review (250th issue).

Caille Millner is the author of a memoir, The Golden Road: Notes on my Gentrification (Penguin Press). Her fiction has been published in Zyzzyva, Joyland, and the Best American Short Stories 2016. Her nonfiction has appeared in Michigan Quarterly Review, the Paris Review Daily, the Los Angeles Review of Books, A New Literary History of America (Harvard University Press), and other publications.

She's been named a Barnes & Noble Emerging Author and received the undergraduate Rona Jaffe Fiction Award, as well as prizes from the National Foundation for the Advancement of the Arts and the National Press Club. She lives in San Francisco.
